It seems like in the recent weeks Pac-10 teams have been knocking each other off starting with the Wash vs USC game. Followed by the OSU vs Stanford and also the highly overrated Cal team which has yet to see a conference win.
Are all the Pac 10 teams just that equally matched or is there no real dominant team in the Pac right now?

i believe right now it is equal, there is no real dominant leader this year, which is good cause im sick of USC. It almost seems like an identity crisis new coaches and coordinators, even Oregon, who would have thought that we would be calling Oregon the great defense team, but i love that. I think defense wins in our league and i think we have the best d this year, and im not saying that cause im a duck fan, we are just really fast, really fast and our dbs can hit. I love our recruiting situation right now for us and the league (pac10) over the last 2 years its been a little more equally distributed, I really think the dominating Usc is not going to be the way it has been the last 7 years, because i think the depth is not there any more more kids are starting to go to other schools because of playing time, ive been tracking this alot, they get there blue chips, but the 4 stars have been equally distributed and i dont really think theres that much of a difference as a whole really, or 3 stars in that matter.

The Oregon - USC game will tell the story. Without question, USC is still the powerhouse, but the Ducks are gaining on them every year. I believe Chip Kelly is going to be a great college coach. This combined with Oregon's unmatched resources, our future looks bright. A couple of top ten seasons and recruiting gets a lot easier. Within three years, Oregon is the new powerhouse.

Chip Kelly does seem to play his part, now let us hope he will stay with Oregon through thick and thin. It would be nice to see Oregon become one of the dominant players in the Pac-10. I hope to see the day they call it the Pac-1 where Oregon rules all. ^_^

i hope the pac10 gets more credit as a whole and Oregon is the power of this conference, I really believe it will be, I believe we will get some bias pre rankings in coming years, im tired of the Ohio states. not that it matters but its nice to get some respect.

Pac-10 is a rising conference but we can not shed the East Coast bias and the bias for traditional football teams.

Example Notre Dame can be bad multiple seasons and with one good game against some random team they will get national spotlight.

We as Duck fans need to be just patient, our stats and results will show the nation how great our football team is, plus we have one of the most passionate fans.
