So here is a quick summary of the lead up to the Huskies game this Saturday: According to rumors the Ducks will be in Black and White uniform combination with Black Helmet, White (Steel) Jersey, and Black Pants. This is still all rumors though, so don’t place your money on it. TJ Ward has been practicing in shells this week, but his status is still unconfirmed. I have a feeling we will see him at the Huskies game but it is a game time decision. Masoli and Costa are both in competition to be the starter for the Huskies game. Some news outlets mentioned that even though Masoli is capable of playing Costa is not out of question for the starting position and ultimately it will be decided at the game. (I don’t know what to think here) We also have some injured players all across the team returning after a nice rest during the byeweek. We are currently favored by (I think) 7 points against the Huskies. The game is scheduled for 12:30pm on abc. Well good luck to all you fans on the road and have a safe but crazy time in Seattle! Go Ducks! Post your last minute predictions and thoughts leading up to the game. |

masoli will start the game, no doubt! t.j. ward will be playing on mostly 3rd and shorts and blitzing schemes, boyett has been playing out of his mind and lewis, and there a freshman and sophmore. |

I love TJ Ward, but the secondary has been fantastic with Boyett back there. That guy is always in the right place at the right time. I think together they'll be an extremely productive tandem and the coaches' confidence in Boyett will allow them to ease TJ back into action. |

And we win the game! 43-19 Ducks! Well that proves many peoples prediction wrong. We had some poor turnovers like the kick return/fumble but overall the game was excellent especially offensively. The defense also did a tremendous job but wish there was little less penalties. So now we move onto USC without a loss in conference. Ready for Halloween?? Go Ducks! |
